This set is really awesome because it was made for 12 to 16 year olds and I am 8 !
This is based on the bucket wheel excavator (or the bagger 2-88 as some call it ) and both the real thing and the set are truly hugely awesome! First of all,the boom (the big part where the bucket wheel is and conveyor belt) lifts up and down really slowly though.It moves back and forth very slowly and the bucket wheel turns with the conveyor belts but of course it moves very slowly. The best part is that the whole part above the tracks swivels around a 360 degree angle. This is a very cool set because I made it in a couple of days but, I was missing a piece so I made a new one (not the same color).

Porter, when you said you were missing a piece and had to make one up, it reminded me of some of the space missions where they had to come up with solutions to problems. You are brilliant! I’m so proud of you!!!! Love, Grandma.
